Happier for Singing
by: Sonja Patrikainen, Music Education Designer for Singing
This vocals in this song are full of really beautiful nuances! I recommend you listen to it bit by bit and imitate the timing, the dynamics and the sound of the singer. It’s also great for practicing your airflow. The song has long phrases, so try to be economical on how much air you use. Watch out for consonants that don’t have a clear pitch, like H, S, and F. They really empty your lungs fast! Also, pay attention to when the singer takes a breath.
